HON. SEN. DR. ROSE AUMA NYAMUNGA, CBS
The Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Information Communication & the Digital Economy (MOIC&DE) Mr. Eliud Owalo officially appointed Hon. Sen. Dr. Rose Auma Ogendo Nyamunga, CBS, as the Chairperson of the Postal Corporation of Kenya Board for a period of three years, effective 27th April, 2023. The appointment of Hon. Sen. Dr. Rose Auma Ogendo Nyamunga, CBS is via a Kenya Gazette notice no. 5478 dated 28th April 2023.
Hon. Sen. Dr. Rose Nyamunga, CBS, is an astute legislature and entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in executive management both in the public and private sector. Before her appointment, Hon. Sen. Dr. Rose Nyamunga, CBS, served in the Senate of Kenya as a Nominated Senator (2017-2022) and in the 11th Parliament (2013-2017), Kenya National Assembly, as the Women Representative for Kisumu County.
She holds a PHD, Doctorate of Humanity from the International University of Ministry and Education, in Missouri, USA and two Masters Degrees; MBA in Finance and an MBA in Strategic Management both from United States International University (USIU). Hon. Sen. Dr. Rose Nyamunga, CBS, has a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Science (BSc). Bachelor of Arts (BA), Accounting & Finance conferred to her by the United States International University (USIU). She is also a Certified Public Accountant, CPA (K).

Dr. Chris Kiptoo , CBS
Dr. Chris Kiptoo is the Principal Secretary, National Treasury. He was appointed Principal Secretary by President William Samoei Ruto on 1st December 2022. Dr. Kiptoo is the immediate former Principal Secretary, Ministry of Environment and Forestry. Before that, he also served as a Principal Secretary at the State Department of Trade, Ministry of Industry, Trade & Cooperatives.
In his working career, Dr. Kiptoo has acquired a rich wealth of experience in economic policy analysis, mainly gained at the Central Bank of Kenya, Capital Market Authority and the International Monetary Fund, where he has served in various capacities. His expertise especially relates to the design and implementation of monetary policy; balance of payments and exchange rates; fiscal operations and policy; financial sector matters including capital markets; national accounts/real sector and macroeconomic accounting, and modelling and forecasting.
Dr. Chris Kiptoo holds a Doctor of Philosophy Degree (PhD) in Finance (International Macroeconomics Finance specialization) from The Nairobi University, as well as a Master of Science (Ag. Economics) and Bachelor of Science (Ag. Economics) degree from Egerton University. He is also an Accredited Fellow in Macroeconomic Management Macroeconomic & Financial Management Institute of Eastern & Southern Africa (MEFMI).

Mr. Paul Gichuki Macharia
Mr. Paul Gichuki Macharia is the Ag. Chief Economist, Ministry of Information, Communications & the Digital Economy (MOIC & DE). He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of Nairobi (1992 class) and a Masters of Arts in Economics from Indira Gandhi National Open University in India (2019).
Mr. Macharia has previously worked as an Economist in various Ministries’ including Transport & Communications, Tourism, Information & Communications and The National Treasury among others since 1996. He has also attended various Management and Leadership Certification programmes both within and without the country for the last 15 years.

Ms. Elizabeth Shungula
She holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting option from Daystar University and an MBA in Finance from Kenya Methodist University.
She is also a qualified CPA (K) holder and a member of ICPAK. Ms. Elizabeth Shungula is currently the alternate Director, Postal Corporation of Kenya Board, representing the Principal Secretary, The National Treasury.

MR. Alister D’ Souza
Mr. Alister D’ Souzawas appointed as the Director of the PCK Board effective Wednesday 6th October, 2021 for a period of three (3) years. He has 19 years of global experience in Shipping & Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Rail and Government Advisory.

Ms. Deborah Bubi
Ms. Deborah W. Bubi was appointed as a Director of the Postal Corporation Board via gazette notice 7003, effective 17th June 2022, for a period of three years. Ms. Deborah, is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with an experience of 12 years in the field of law. She hold a Bachelor of laws degree conferred to her by the University of Nairobi in 2007 and currently pursuing a master of laws (LLM) (Public Finance and Financial Services).

MR. JOHN KIPYEGON TONUI
Mr. John Kipyegon Tonui was appointed the Postmaster General/ Chief Executive Officer of Postal Corporation of Kenya on 13th February 2023 by the Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Information, Communications & the Digital Economy. Mr. Tonui joined Posta Kenya in March 1993 as a Management Trainee and he has risen through ranks in both defunct Kenya Posts and Telecommunication Corporation and Postal Corporation of Kenya over the last 30 years.
He holds a MBA in Strategic and Human Resource Management and a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Humanities and Social Sciences both from The University of Nairobi. He is a dynamic and strategic thinker, a consultant in Human Resource Management and a member of both Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) and the Kenya Institute of Management (KIM).
Mr. John Tonui is the current National Treasurer, Kenya Communications Sports Organization (KECOSO); National Trustee Staff Retirement Benefits Scheme Postal Corporation of Kenya; Patron/Chairman Posta Rangers Football Club; Patron Sotik Progressive Forum (SPF) and Leader for Empower to Empower programs among others.

Prof. Edward Waswa Kisiang’ani
Professor Edward Waswa Kisiang’ani is the Principal Secretary, the State Department of Broadcasting and Telecommunications in the Ministry of Information Communications and the Digital Economy (MOIC&DE), after appointment by the President on 2nd November 2022. He serves as a substantive Director of the Board at the Postal Corporation of Kenya representing the Ministry of IC&DE.
Prior to his appointment he was a Senior Lecturer and Researcher, Department Of History, Archaeology and Political Science at Kenyatta University, since 2010. Prof. Kisiang’ani has served in different positions as a Tutorial fellow, Graduate Assistant, Editor at Jomo Kenyatta Foundation Publishers among other Institutions.
He has a vast experience in Administration having held several administrative positions including Chairman Department of History, Archaeology and Political Studies; Director of Alumni Programs; Senate Representative to Board of Graduate School and Member, Board of Post Graduate Studies, a position he holds to date, at the Kenyatta University.
He holds a PhD in History and Political Economy, Masters of Arts Degree from Kenyatta University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education conferred to him, from the University of Nairobi. In his career, he has published several academic journals, books among others. He is also an avid political consultant and analyst in current affairs.
Prof. Kisiang’ani is a fellow and a member of several associations including Kenya Historical Association, American Cultural Centre Library, Kenya American Studies Associations and Board of Governors, St Marys Secondary School, Sosio among others.
